DO NO HARM!

1 Chronicles 16:22 (NKJV)
Saying, "Do not touch My anointed ones, And do My prophets no harm."

Sometimes bad things happen to good people, but sometimes their calamity is a result of the after effects of harmful actions towards God’s anointed ones. Actions that are not always physical, but can also be emotionally harmful words, even if they are based on facts about their past. God will not repeat what has been covered with the Blood of Jesus, only Satan will bring up a person’s past transgressions and failures.

Proverbs 17:9 (NKJV)
He who covers a transgression seeks love, But he who repeats a matter separates friends.

Micah 7:18 (NKJV)
Who is a God like You, Pardoning iniquity And passing over the transgression of the remnant of His heritage? He does not retain His anger forever, Because He delights in mercy.

I have been attacked both physically and emotionally while serving God and have seen God turn His wrath upon the persons who were involved.

Romans 12:19 (NKJV)
Beloved, do not avenge yourselves, but rather give place to wrath; for it is written, "Vengeance is Mine, I will repay," says the Lord.

One particular event I was actually beaten by a brother in the church because I would not compromise my belief about allowing The Holy Spirit to be our judge here within the church. I was encouraged to have them convicted, but I could only hear what God was saying about not touching His anointed, and how He would repay. Instead, I chose to love them and place them in God’s hands. I had to stay out of the way and watch God allow brokenness and loss to come over them. Their health and finances suffered, jobs were lost and pain became a part of the normal everyday.

But God is not so far away that we can not be saved. I have always asked this question, “if you were a million steps away from God, how many steps will you have to take to get back to God?” The answer is “just one!” I believe God will instantly make up the difference to receive us back and when repentance came to my brother, I was able to receive him and his family back into the covering of church that is under the covering of Christ.

Romans 10:13 (NKJV)
For "whoever calls on the name of the LORD shall be saved."

Repent and call on the Name of the Lord while it is still today.

Do Not Judge

DO NOT JUDGE!

My favorite story to tell from the teachings of Jesus is when He speaks about the parable of the sower. Jesus only judges the man first by declaring him to be a sower who went out and sowed seed. Never again does Jesus refer to this man again but He begins to judge the seeds that were sown and where they fell and what happened to them. Not once did the sower even observe or describe where the seed had arrived. I believe the sower, like we should be, knew it was not his job to judge it’s outcome, but his only to sow. Jesus is the only righteous Judge and it all needs to be left to Him. Amen..

“But why do you judge your brother? Or why do you show contempt for your brother? For we shall all stand before the judgment seat of Christ. For it is written:
“As I live, says the LORD, every knee shall bow to Me, and every tongue shall confess to God.”
Romans 14:10-11 NKJV

Faith and Marriage

Faith and Marriage I can say with certainty that God can heal any marriage, any relationship between a man and a woman who have their faith in Christ Jesus. God will honor your devotion to each other and help when the enemy comes in to destroy what He has already blessed. Satan will present every reason and opportunity to destroy the union that God has blessed even before the wedding and after also. “Two are better than one” (Ecclesiastes 4:9) “and a threefold cord is not quickly broken” (v.12). When we make a commitment to God within our relationship of marriage and Christ is the center, then the threefold cord is complete and unbreakable. “Therefore a man shall leave his father and mother and be joined to his wife, and they shall become one flesh.” Genesis 2:24 NKJV It is God’s plan for man to be married or He would not have made Eve to be his wife. He looked at Adam and saw that it wasn’t good for him to be alone. I have discovered that God wants man to have a wife and a woman to have a husband to help them in their work for Him. Trust God and He will give you the strength and power to fulfill your commitment to each other. There is now or ever will be anything that is impossible for God. Never give up, never say never and there is no quit in Him. “For this reason a man shall leave his father and mother and be joined to his wife, and the two shall become one flesh." “An Heir of God”

“An Heir of God”

We are heirs— heirs of God and co- heirs with Christ. Romans 8:17

You aren’t merely a slave, servant, or saint of God. No, you are a child of God. You have legal right to the family business and fortune of heaven. The will has been executed. The courts have been satisfied. Your spiritual account has been funded. He “has blessed [you] with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ” (Eph. 1:3.)

You have everything you need to be everything God desires. Divine resources have been deposited in you.

Everything in the heavens and on earth is yours, O lord, and this is your kingdom. We adore you as the one who is over all things” (1 Chron. 29:11).

Overcome with Your Testimony

Job stated at the beginning of his trials that “the thing he had feared the most has come upon him.” (Job 3:25)

But you and I must not be overtaken with fear. We must rise up and speak with authority unto victory. We are overcomers by the word of our testimony and our faith.

Remember, God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love and a sound mind. (2  Timothy 1:7) Which means to me that I’m not crazy for believing even when everyone else sees it as impossible.
All things are possible with God. But He said, "The things which are impossible with men are possible with God." Luke 18:27 NKJV

The Battle is The Lord’s! part 2

Sometimes we as Christians find ourselves in a battle that is trying to steal away our dreams and desires. Satan is not entering the battle as a horned beast with a pitchfork and forked tongue and tail. He most often disguises himself as what you may call a friend or family member that presents themselves as Christians with your best interests as their only concern. Jesus told Satan that God’s Word is all that was needed to live for the Father and faith in Him will bring us to victory! Satan will not cast out Satan, because he is not going to divide what he already has possession of. (Matthew 12:26 (NKJV)”If Satan casts out Satan, he is divided against himself. How then will his kingdom stand?)
Take notice of your battle and choose to follow what leads you into God’s Word and into His presence. Be filled with the Holy Ghost to have the knowledge of discernment among spirits. Jesus is the Captain of our VICTORY! Follow Him!!

Father God, help us to be victorious in the battle. Keep us safe from all harm and guide us into Your Word each day. In Jesus Name, Amen

Then Jesus said to him, "Away with you, Satan! For it is written, 'You shall worship the LORD your God, and Him only you shall serve.'”
Matthew 4:10 NKJV

Trust only in God

“Trust only in God!”
I was asked why or how can a person trust so heavily upon God providing all their needs. My only answer was sometimes when you step out in faith you are forced to accept that Jesus will be your supplier because you can not do anything yourself. I have taken a path that causes me to daily look towards and lean entirely upon receiving God’s favor and blessings. It is good to be in the House of The Lord and trust in Him. My hope and prayer for you today is that you will be able to look to Jesus also and find Him as your source of everything you need, whatever that may be today. God bless you.

"Therefore I say to you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or what you will drink; nor about your body, what you will put on. Is not life more than food and the body more than clothing? Look at the birds of the air, for they neither sow nor reap nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not of more value than they? Which of you by worrying can add one cubit to his stature? So why do you worry about clothing? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow: they neither toil nor spin; and yet I say to you that even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these. Now if God so clothes the grass of the field, which today is, and tomorrow is thrown into the oven, [will He] not much more [clothe] you, O you of little faith. Therefore do not worry, saying, 'What shall we eat?' or 'What shall we drink?' or 'What shall we wear?' For after all these things the Gentiles seek. For your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you. Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about its own things. Sufficient for the day [is] its own trouble.
Matthew 6:25-34 NKJV

The Battle is The Lord’s

Our battles that we must endure are not going to be the same as the last battle. We have a new lesson to learn and a new opportunity for Christ to be exalted in our lives. We begin to win the battle when we understand that it is a Spiritual battle and not ever against the people that are around us. Sometimes it will seem as though you are being overwhelmed and wounded, but remember that Jesus is our Victor! He will bring us through this with Him.
I am reminded of a question:
How far can you go into a forest? The forest could be your trial, your struggle, your heartache, your pain, your past and so on. But the answer is and always will be, only halfway, because you are then on your way out! God is with us and we are in good hands.
“You are Loved!”- Pastor Ron

“For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war according to the flesh. For the weapons of our warfare [are] not carnal but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds, casting down arguments and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ, and being ready to punish all disobedience when your obedience is fulfilled. Do you look at things according to the outward appearance? If anyone is convinced in himself that he is Christ's, let him again consider this in himself, that just as he [is] Christ's, even so we [are] Christ's.”
2 Corinthians 10:3-7 NKJV

Waiting will bring beauty into your day!!

Today I look around me and I see so many projects that I should have probably completed. But today, I will choose to wait upon God to help me. My strength is lacking and I know that God is my strength. I trust Him to provide all of the things I need and I have seen Him give me more than I asked for and many things I didn’t know I had need of. God is so good to me and I know He wants to bless you and me, so again I know that sometimes we have to wait.

The Lord is my Shepherd

“The Lord is my Shepherd”

I have not always followed Christ in my life, but that is another story about a man who doesn’t exist anymore. “Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new.” (2 Corinthians 5:17). I know that I have been made new because of Jesus and He wants to make all things new in your life. This happens when we confess Him as Savior and repent from sin. (Romans 10:9-10)

This leads me back to my original statement that Jesus is my Shepherd. I have come to know that He does lead and speak to me and all His children. When He speaks, I am not confused about His voice. I have heard Him very much over the last few years in an encouraging voice that has helped me move forward with His plan. Believe me when I say that God is speaking “My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me”(John 10:27). Certainly there is enough evidence that God is working in our lives because people’s lives are being affected by the direction that God has placed us. I hear Him and I will obey Him. I only hope that you will hear Him and we can follow His will together. God has promised me that I would not have to go forward alone and He has never lead me wrong. I hope that you will have the same faith that enables you to follow Jesus and hear His voice today.

Just so you know, I will serve Him with or without you. “And the people said to Joshua, “The LORD our God we will serve, and His voice we will obey!"(Joshua 24:24)
